Brian M. Cox –President and
Founder
Prior to Founding Fixeon in 2004, Brian had focused the last 7 of his 16 year career
at the 3M company developing many products for the semiconductor and wafer handling markets.
During those years, Brian held positions of Product Development Engineer, Six Sigma Project Leader,
and Business Development Engineer where he focused his time on researching markets, designing and
developing innovative products as well as building customer relationships. He was his divisions’
entrepreneurial spirit being involved extensively in key account sales, advertising and marketing
campaigns and analysis. Before applying his talent to designing the wafer handling product platform
which has now become Fixeon's mainstay, Brian also developed many products for the 3M Static Control Division.
Before joining 3M, Brian worked for Raytheon Military Aircraft as a
Design Engineer in the Experimental Engineering Group in Wichita, Kansas
after receiving an Associate Certificate in Applied Science with a concentration
in Aeronautical Design Engineering and Credit Certificates for Computer Aided Design
Graphics, all from the Wichita State University.
Jay Lynn -Board Member / Director
Jay has 30 years of product development and manufacturing management experience.
Before leaving 3M in 2002, Jay had supervised a large technical group of engineers in the Static Control Group.
Jay has a strong polymer process engineering background in compounding and molding thermoplastics.
Jay is a strategic thinker and team player who was there during the start-up phase of building the
technical and production teams at Fixeon. Jay continues to be be involved as a Director and board member.
Jay holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Bill Balliette -Board Member / Director
Bill has over 13 years of experience in marketing products for the electronics industry.
As a Marketing Manager for the 3M company, Bill was involved in many successful
product launches. Bill left 3M in 2005 to join Brian and Jay as Fixeon's Marketing and Sales Director.
Bill continues to be involved with Fixeon business issues as a Director and board member.
Bill holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dartmouth College
and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas in Austin, TX.
Jeff Birdsley -Independent Board Member
Jeff has over 14 years of management and leadership experience in the semiconductor and consumer electronics industries.
Jeff currently leads a global organization of product engineering and services teams at Dell, Inc.
Jeff's organization has been responsible for global engineering support of products with annual revenues
greater than $20 billion. Prior to his 8 year tenure at Dell, Jeff held leadership roles
at Advanced Micro Devices in R&D, failure analysis, quality and finance. He served five years as the Chairman of System Level
Analysis of the International Symposium for Testing and Failure Analysis.
Jeff currently holds 43 patents and has authored numerous industry publications.
Jeff has also served his community as VP of the board of directors for "For The Children, Inc.",
a non-profit organization providing more than 30,000 needy children with free school supplies annually.
Jeff holds an MBA from the Krannert Graduate School of Business at Purdue University as well
as a BSEE from the Purdue School of Engineering.
Pam Tucker - Independent Board Member
After receiving her PhD from the University of Texas, Pam worked for 3M for 6 years as a Product Development
Specialist where she applied her innovative talents developing many products for the Static Control Division.
In 1993 Pam left 3M to become the Technical Director and VP of Utility Composites Intl. Ltd in Pflugerville, TX.
which produces composite fasteners. Pam completed her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at the
University of Oklahoma and received her MS and PhD from the University of Texas, studying thermodynamics of
polymer alloys. Pam has a number of published articles in refereed journals and a number of patents from both
3M and from Utility Composites.
Besides running her own company she is the Chair Elect for the University of Oklahoma's Board of Chemical Engineering.
She enjoys spending time with her 6 year old daughter and 3 year old son. She is involved in her church regularly,
and has taken on being her own general contractor on her new home. If that wasn't enough she also owns and enjoys
flying her own 4 place single engine aircraft.
Randall Morris - Independent Board Member
Randall is a respected, professional Real Estate Broker and Developer in the Central Texas area for over thirty years.
He opened his first Real Estate business in 1980 in San Marcos, Texas. Since that time, he has acquired other Real Estate
companies; the Wimberley Land Company in Wimberley, Texas and Randall Morris & Associates in New Braunfels, Texas.
Randall specializes in Real Estate Development throughout Central Texas, South Texas, and the Texas Gulf Coast.
He has developed numerous multi-million dollar projects including apartments, subdivisions and commercial properties.
Randall received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Texas State University in 1974.
Randall and his wife, Kathy, former Mayor of San Marcos, reside in San Marcos and remain very involved in the community.
They have two sons and a daughter-in-law.
